History of Pilatus Aircraft

Some PILATUS Aircraft Flight Manuals PDF above the page.

Pilatus Aircraft's history dates back to 1939.

Initially, it was created as a repair facility for the restoration of air equipment damaged during the war. And from spare parts, the workers assembled an S-35 reconnaissance biplane.

Several SB-2 trainers were then built. In the 40s and 50s, the company created many projects of economical military aircraft, but not all of them were implemented.

Only a few models were successful, for example the P-3, which were exported to Brazil.

Pilatus Aircraft In 1958, the PC-6 Porter was created. This aircraft then underwent many improvements and one of its modifications, Turbo Porter, is still used today.

An unusual all-metal aircraft was released in 1971. This version was called the PC-11 and was in good demand: more than 300 units were sold.

Other popular Pilatus Aircraft models include the PC-7 Turbo, which was released in 1978. In total, about 450 aircraft were created.

Among the training aircraft, the PC-9 Advanced Turbo Trainer, produced in 1984, was in great demand. Approximately 250 copies went on sale.

Pilatus Aircraft has been cooperating with China since 2013, the co-production aircraft is called HB-VXA.

The manufacturer tried to take into account all the wishes of users: to leave the ability to climb from difficult runways, but at the same time to increase its power and flight range.

The first flight of this model took place in 2015, it immediately began to sell well.
