Evektor-Aerotechnik was founded in 1991 by three founders with the aim of creating a strong and efficient company operating in the aerospace and automotive industry.

 

The company's headquarters are located at the international airport in Kunovice in the South of Moravia, close to the Austrian-Slovakian border.

 

This area is known for a long and successful history in the aerospace industry. Letecke zavody is the manufacturer of the world famous L410 Turbolet aircraft (more than 1,000 aircraft produced) as well as Moravan Aeroplanes is the manufacturer of sports aircraft.

 

1991 Foundation of the company.

 

1992 Establishment of cooperation in the aerospace industry, takes part in the development of the light aircraft L 159.

 

1996 Establishment of cooperation in the development of the Ibis Ae-270 aircraft.

 

1996 Beginning of work on the FOX aircraft.

 

1996 Beginning of cooperation with the Volkswagen Group.

 

1996 Acquisition of 100% of shares in Aerotechnik CZ.

 

1996 Start of work on the aircraft EV-97 teamEurostar.

 

2000 Start of production of the EV-97 VLA aircraft.

 

2001 Start of work on the VUT100 Cobra aircraft.

 

2003 Start of work on the SportStar aircraft.

2003 Completion of the construction of the new headquarters of the company.

Evektor-Aerotechnik history.

 

The history of the company begins on January 1, 1970. The main area of work is the development and production of ultralight aircraft. One of the first projects was a two-seater aircraft and a single-seater gyroplane.

 

Since 1972 Aerotechnik has been carrying out overhaul, maintenance and refurbishment of the Zlin aircraft L-60 Brygadyr. The work with Zlin aircraft continued until the mid-90s.

 

In the middle 70 ґ. production of the L-13 Vivat motor glider commenced and production continued until mid-1990 ґ.

 

More than 200 units of L-13 Vivat were produced and successfully operated in the USA, Canada, Australia, South Africa, Egypt, Israel, Germany, Sweden and many other countries.

 

In 1996, the production of the all-metal ultralight aircraft P-220 UL Koala began. Produced until the end of 1999, 35 P-220 aircraft and 7 Whales were produced.

 

Since 1997, a new ultralight aircraft EV-97 Eurostar has been produced - still in production today.

 

After the merger of Aerotechnik with Evektor, Aerotechnik was transformed into the holding company Evektor-Aerotechnik in 1999.

 

Today the Evektor-Aerotechnik company is one of the world leaders in the production of ultralight aircraft.
