Fairey Swordfish is a British World War II-deck carrier-based torpedo bomber created by Fairey Aviation.

 

Serially produced from 1936 to 1944 and was one of the main aircraft of the British Navy during World War II.

 

The predecessor of the aircraft was Fairey PV, which was designed by Marcel Lobelle for Greece. The prototype for Swordfish was the TSR model.
