History of Dassault Aircraft

Some DASSAULT Aircraft Flight Manuals PDF above the page.

Dassault Aviation is a French aircraft manufacturer that manufactures military and regional aircraft and Falcon business jets.

Today the company has a wide range of business jets with a range of 7,400 to 11,000 km and is present in the markets of 80 countries.

Civil aircraft have the maneuverability and reliability of fighters: the production of business jets is based on military technology.

The history of the Dassault brand is inseparable from the life of its founder, Marcel Bloch, later famed as Marcel Dassault, a French inventor, engineer and aviator who founded Avions Marcel Bloch in 1929, producing Bloch fighters and postal monoplans.

A special niche in the company's products was occupied by the special ambulance aircraft MV80 and MV81, designed to transport wounded soldiers, which were widely used in Africa and the Middle East.

Before the war, the company also developed several models of bombers, as well as twin-engine MB-220 airliners.

In the 1960s, the company switched to the commercial aircraft market. The first business jet with two turbojets was developed in collaboration with Aerospatiale.

The liner received the double name Mystere-Falcon 20 and immediately attracted the attention of airlines. The first major customer was the Pan American carrier, which opened a business aviation division.

Dassault pioneered the use of the latest electronic systems on their aircraft, especially radars.

Dassault makes Mirage fighters.
