Review of Stratos 714 Aircraft

There's a STRATOS Aircraft Flight Manual PDF above the page.

Stratos Aircraft, the developer of the Stratos 714 personal jet, has decided to redesign its product based on feedback from potential customers.

As a result, the aircraft should have a design that can easily accommodate six passengers and a crew, as well as luggage.

The startup, based in Redmond, Oregon, has developed a high-performance composite jet that can seat up to six people.

But the company acknowledged that it is too small in its current form to comfortably accommodate the specified number of passengers.

The Stratos 714 was launched in 2008, but the concept model first flew in November 2016. To date, the aircraft with a Pratt & Whitney Canada JT15D-5 engine has flown over 170 hours.

The aircraft's design speed is 400 knots (740 km / h), and the range with four passengers is 1500 nautical miles (2780 km) and 1200 miles with six.

The Stratos 714 aims to compete with the Cirrus Vision Jet, currently the only single-engine Part 23 certified jet, and the twin-engine Embraer Phenom 100EV.
